At MyDataMachine, we’ve always believed that AI should do more than perform it should make sense. It should be built on solid data. It should be transparent, traceable, and fair. Today, we’re taking that commitment a step further.
We’re proud to launch a new ethical offering in collaboration with SituAnnotate and FAIR360 two powerful toolsets designed to help companies not just talk about responsible AI, but actually build it.
It starts with data but not just any data.
Every AI model starts with training data. If that data is biased, unbalanced, or poorly documented, the model will be too. That’s where SituAnnotate, created by Delfina Martinez Pandiani, comes in.
Instead of treating annotations as a mechanical task, SituAnnotate allows companies to enrich each data point with real-world context. Who annotated it? When, where, and under what conditions? What cultural or linguistic biases might have shaped the result? With semantic web standards like OWL and RDF, all this metadata becomes structured, queryable, and most importantly auditable.
You don’t just know what’s in your data. You know how it got there.
And when regulations like the EU AI Act come knocking, you’ll be ready with full traceability, documented decisions, and a clear view of your training pipeline.
Then comes the model and how we evaluate it.
With FAIR360, we bring together the best of what already exists: IBM’s AI Fairness 360, Microsoft’s Fairlearn, Checklist, and HAX Toolkit, Google’s What-If Tool and Facets, and evaluation layers from Hugging Face. Each of these tools helps explore different dimensions of fairness, explainability, and risk from visual bias detection to counterfactual testing to actionable mitigation strategies.
The result? Not just an “ethical score” slapped on after the fact. But a set of measurable insights, with real levers for action.
Because let’s be honest: AI ethics isn’t about branding. It’s about building systems we can explain, stand behind, and improve over time.
Why now?
We’re entering a new phase in AI development. The speed is impressive, but speed without reflection leads to shortcuts. And when it comes to decision-making systems, shortcuts are dangerous.
We don’t believe ethics should slow innovation. We believe it should guide it.
With this new offering, MyDataMachine helps companies build AI that’s not only high-performing but also accountable, understandable, and ready for the world that’s watching.
Ethics isn’t a side project. It’s the roadmap.
